Topic: Precious lessons learnt
Today, i started my day with a decision, i.e. whether to go sch or not? Well, this only shows how much i dread only sch.. However, as a JC leader i ought to set an example, hence, i dragged my feet to sch. Ironically, wed is both my fav n most hungry(hated, since i love to eat) day, as there is no tutorials but lectures, meaning no H\w but with an extremely long day. E only break i has is at 1pm!
Surprisingly, i pon my maths lecture at 12noon( wi Rui), so tt i can eat n escape e syndrome of 'faking as if i did my work' This wed is my longest ever, cos miss tey(bio tutor) retained us. Thankfully, she blessed us with a bar of kit kat!
On my way to RC, i fell asleep on e bus. Frankly, it isnt e 1st time, but im still embarrassed, as drooling was my problem. Well, let u all guessed whether did i drool? When i reached RC, i realised that there r only Aquila n Gerard present. Has e rest 4got abt our PM-cum-rehearsal?
Honestly, i was quite furious, as in my heart i knew tt this meeting is very essential but i don know how to express it. Being a Christian for almost 0.5 decade, i had learnt e art of planning n carrying out a successful n impactful CG; i.e. "we do our 100%, God shall do e rest" Hence, i insisted( as i convinced JL n team to rush down fr BHCC) on a PM. We needed God's anointing!
If any of my Coreteam read this, i'll apologise 4 my choleric-ness.
Though e waiting process was very irritating, i managed to learn to remain calm n crappy( which is so unlike me!). Also, i cultivate e 4giving spirit towards e sis n e rush-down-with-cab chaps, thank u cle n jon 4 ur investment n commitment. Greatly appreciated it.
While i was leading a quick overall prayer, i was motivated to pray wi more confidence, as i can roughly hear jon's words. His mumblings serve as affirmations 4 me, 4 i know im doing e
RIGHT thing, even if it means troubling e grp.
Shorttly aft i ended, jon ask e team to pray more, 4 e strengthening of our spiritual life. In conclusion, i was really assured i did e Biblical thing--Depend on GOd's providence. In e future, i'll demand PM 4 CG!
E rehearsal was fantastic, as i was amazed at how marvellous GOd worked. TRuly, i hope tt tml e same results will be there! Gotto give 2 thumb-ups for NEE's coreteam!
We had a mac dinner n talk abt topics ranging fr Politics to soccer n to e KOG!
Im now at Weilun, my buddy hse, blogging. We did QT together n learnt much.
Finished e bk of Gal, i've learnt tt we shld nv compare wi others--provoking n envy 1 another.
