Cycling rocks!
Today, I was awaken by a missed call and 2 SMSes. When I was about to get out of my bed, there came a downpour! Hence, I decided to slack longer on my bed.
After taken brunch and watched a few TV programmes, I chose to read a book. Unfortunately, I fell asleep. This time round I was awaken by a cal from Jon. He asked me to go down Bishan Park, so that he could teach me how to cycle.
Apparently, the park was very big, so we took 30min before we could meet. Finally when we met, he suggested to go to a less crowded area, so without much delay I jogged alongside with him. After about 2km or so, we settled at a spot beside a café.
You see, it just rained in the morning, and I’m very soaked with perspiration, I really doubted that I could master cycling that day.
However, after much attempts, I realised I’m able to cycle downhill! Whoo, I rock totally! Yet, this experience came with a price-my groin was still in pain even as I typed!
Seriously, I love the feeling of cycling, especially when you struggled so hard to master the balance. Now that I can cycle, I’m qualified to take part in Tri-marathon! Just one day, I could cycle to meet my friends for midnight supper.
Speaking of sports, I realised I do have a lot of injuries from doing sports. Blisters on your hands and feet could give you burning sensation whenever you touch and bruises all over your body give you excruciating pain. Maybe, this is the price of doing sports.
But, what one blessing I would share is that I still survive, despite having a few near-death experiences. Like just down when I tried to brake while travelling at high speed, I almost flew into the bushes or the chest pains I felt while jogging.
God really blessed me greatly. Thank you for guarding my life :)
