My shepherd is Thaddeus Matthias Chan who is my mentor ever since last year. Through him, I had learnt much, things like being more pastoral, always others-centred, always serving, how to be slack yet still get things done. I truly appreciate him, as although I'm a very difficult sheep, he still give his best to me. Without him, my relationship would have been destroyed.
Thad is a more like a friend to me, since he seldom correct me with an authoritative voice, but gentle point out my weaknesses. He is a very patient brother, one who is both a good listener and good adviser, as he always waited for the best time to reveal his intentions.
He is always other-centred. Whenever he buys drinks, he would never failed to buy an extra drink for his people.
Love is also his attribute. One can tell how much he loves his people (and his dog-Sassy) by what he does during his free time. I believe he always pray for his people.
It is my blessing to have such a strong spiritual leader above me!
