FAITH WITHOUT DEEDS IS USELESS!
Today, i went service with a very low personal attendance. Well, it's because 3 of my sheep can't make it for service man. By right i should be very discouraged, but i was ironically refreshed after service!
Pastor Jeff delivered a very practical and powerful sermon! His straight-in-your-face approach was extremely cool and respectful, man. I really learnt a lot from this great man of God! I really like him, can't stand ppl who r half-hearted for God. I mean it's so logical and biblical to follow GOd and His word, and yet there r many ppl who only do lip service!
However touched I am by the sermon, i was quite sad in a sense. Cos my sheep are unable to receive the transforming word of God. They missed out BIG TIME man. Hiya, i doubted I am able to preach as life-imparting as my role model, man.
Another point worthy to make is the worship atmosphere today was TRULY AWESOME! I can literally touched and felt God la, thanks to the YWAM team, esp yao guo; the led by spirit keyboardist.
Then straight aft svc we headed to America room for j2 appreciation! I received a scroll! Seriously, i think the scroll idea was very fantastic! It totally motivates me to study hard for As, so as to get the actual precious scroll.
Hence, to apply the teaching, we decided to study toge as a yj community at yishun aft dinner.
We reached long john at around 8pm. Studied all the way till 11pm, before i blogged! It was a fruitful time of fellowship with yan shi and SHE + jo.
Anyway, i burnt out my 1 week of vacation, man. Well, at least i complete studying a few bio chapters. But i need to buck up!
Next Saturday is our church 16th anniversary! It's at Downtown East, yea means another wonderful event to look fwd to and to enjoy one another's fellowship! Yet, it also reflects that As are around the corner!
52days to As!! I'll keep all the j2s in prayers. Pray for me too! Oh ya, pray for the j1's promos and that no one gets retain!
