Match aside, i wanna take sometime to write down my reflections abt NS ministry.
Today was awesome. I woke up very early at 8.30, considering i only had 6.5 hr of slp, and had to rush to lavender street soccer court to play soccer! My team actually had a winning streak of around
10 matches! haha, but i didnt manage to score. However, i did contribute with a few assists! I joined a few teams, include
ray,gf,pete ; ACS; etc. It was an enjoyable game! I'm sure going to play soccer aft my 1st booked out!
After soccer, i went GYM with Matthew and Song Jun,(we actually went planet fitness at THE CATHAY to shower!) Then, rushing to Istana for our 1st ever recruit CG! We had alot of fun playing cat n mouse( NS version ), worshiping God and listened to the WOG by Bruce and JL! Finally, we even wrote our plans and visions for the next 2 yrs. Our letters are stored in a time capsule for 730 days! Isn't that COOL?!
When CG is over we went PS to slack, before DC give me some sort of shepherding (my last one b4 enlistment). While the nite is still young, i went to watch SOCCER. What a way to 'party' my last 3 days of freedom?
Saturday was even cooler! I attended my 1st tertiary svc. It was kinda different, but i'll adapt real soon. THEN, we had my very 1st NS VISION NIGHT! It was totally MARVELLOUS! I had a powerful teaching and responded to God's call! I wanna be a SOLDIER of God, stop whining and start WINNING the world! To make my night even more special, we went tau hui (soybean curd)!
Imagine 15 guys coming toge to eat some supper that suspected of giving males, moobs? God was even more gracious to me by blessing me with a direct 6N home!
Actually, Mon, tmr, im again going out with the NS guys! We r going to beach rd to buy man stuffs!
ISN'T all these activities totally ROCKS BIG TIME?! I'm so proud of being in this ministry! It's a privilege man! Thank you, Lord.
I do not know whether National Service is going to be as Exciting and Enriching, but I shall 'know who i sweat for'! I'm going to be a biblical and righteous SOG!
